A Message From The Chairman

The Kingskerswell Summer Moon Festival committee recently held a presentation evening at The Bickley Mill. On the night, cheques totalling nearly £6,500 were handed out to local groups and charities from proceeds from the beer, food and music festival held on the Parish Meadow in June 2009.

Following the villages second festival, Chairman Paul Mitchell said 'We are delighted to have been able to support the local groups and charities again this year and are very proud that after only two festivals we have given out over £10,000. Following the rain hit event in 2008, we were blessed with glorious weather this year and wholeheartedly thank all our sponsors, volunteers and patrons'.

The Festival will take place again in 2010 from 18-20 June.
