SUMMER MOON FESTIVAL 2012
21st to 24th June
Now in our fifth year and becoming a 'must visit' event, this year's Summer Moon Festival starts at 7pm on Thursday 21st June with a 'Last Night of the Proms' concert by Torbay Symphony Orchestra.
The 'Beer and Wine' event kicks off at 5pm on Friday 22nd June. 'Decade', a local disco will provide the music and a local singer will be on offer for your entertainment.
On Saturday 23rd June the music begins around 11am with at least 7 live, local, bands playing throughout the day, until 11pm.
On Sunday 24th June the gates open from 12 noon until 6pm. Come and enjoy the 'Big Family Fun Day', to include a host of activities and entertainment for all.
Alongside the weekend's entertainment there's a large marquee with plenty of liquid refreshments to help quench your thirst.
Your opportunity to sample around 60 South West Real Ales, Wines from across the world, Cider, a Hog Roast supplied by a local farmer, Cream Teas and much, much more. Something for all the family to enjoy.
There is a strict under 18 policy. Young people and families are most welcome, under 12s must be accompanied by a parent/responsible adult. Challenge 25 will operate at this festival, so if you are 25 years or under please bring a valid ID with you - no ID, no alcohol. Please do not be offended if asked about your age.
All profits raised from the Summer Moon Festival are given to local clubs and charities.
See you there!
